Little Conejo: Reviews & Ratings
Tried 4 of the tacos, the best were the chorizo one and the al pastor, the norteno was solid, the fish taco was really hyped up in the reviews but it was pretty average. The chorizo and al pastor earned the 5 stars by themselves
This is an order at the counter then go sit down place. The Al pastor tacos are amazing! Got Hibiscus drink and it was incredibly small..probably 4-5 ounces of juice in a tom Collin’s glass filled with ice for $5. That was the only negative. Had beef, mushroom and Al pastor. Would go back for just the Al pastor although the others were very very good too
This place is amazing! My first bite into my fish taco was so eye opening as to how good a taco can taste! High quality fish, awesome atmosphere and most of all was the fantastic staff that accommodated and served us, thank you we appreciate it.
This is a review specifically for their wonderful catering service! We have loved Little Conejo for years, and we decided to have them cater our wedding. Their communication from start to finish was stellar, and they were very patient with my changes and dietary accommodations. The price for the food was incredibly fair, and we had so much extra food that I am still enjoying delicious burritos I made from the leftovers! They were generous in their portions, and even gave us some free guac. Timing with their delivery was perfect, and I was so grateful they were able to deliver to my venue that was over an hour from the restaurant and down a pretty steep gravel-y road. The food arrived hot and ready for our reception, and everything was as delicious as it is in-restaurant!! They were able to accommodate for dairy free, gluten-free, nut-free, and vegetarian without even needing to alter the already delicious dishes. Thank you for the amazing service and wonderful food, Little Conejo! I strongly recommend having them cater any event where you want great food! (professional taco pics by Kari Shuck photography!)
I'll only give it a 4 because the tortillas don't live up to the deliciousness of the meats; they were cold, and some were even a little tough (poorly heated). I recommend buying a tortilla machine, which would give your an exceptional flavor or with the current tortillas, use the fat from the al pastor meat to heat them on the griddle, and they'll give them an incredible flavor. The salsas, service, and friendliness are all 10/10.
Sunday brunch menu. Brunch ends at 3pm because that’s when they close on Sunday. Got Chilaquiles and Huevos Divorciados and side of rice and beans. I prefer regular hours menu, but brunch is good. This a delicious Mexican food restaurant. I am from CA and was hesitant to give this place a try, but then it became a regular favorite. Carnitas and fish tacos are best. Drinks are awesome too. If you’re looking for good Mexican food, this is the best I’ve tried in the area.
People say this is one of the best fish tacos in greater Portland and they are right. I think it's near the top because of the total experience. Lovely place, lovely staff, amazing salsas of which there are at least four. Great chips. I still give it a five stars even though I think my fish batter was way overcooked. Look at the photo and tell me what you think?
We love going to Little Conejo. They have great vegetarian taco options, often including a seasonal special (I still miss the fried potato taco with fried jalepeño salsa ). I love the nachos during happy hour. The service is excellent, too. My one critique is that their margaritas aren’t always consistent (different recipes with different bartenders, it seems), but overall the drinks are good too. I think they have the best salsa for their tacos in town - not watery at all and their tacos pack great flavor.
